Creative Professional of the Year Award

Who Can Be Nominated?
Any Creative Professional employed by a company that is a current member in good standing with Printing Industry Midwest (PIM). This professional could be a Graphic Designer, Prepress Specialist, Creative Director, Web Designer, Event Coordinator and the list goes on. The nominator may be anyone at a PIM member company (with approval from a supervisor or manager if required).
New this year, PIM is only accepting online nomination forms. No paper base or email forms will be accepted. It is free to nominate co-works and there is no limit to how many people you can nominate.
Nomination Criteria
The award recipient must demonstrate outstanding and innovative print leadership worthy of recognition. In addition, this person must consistently exhibit all of the following…
- Currently working for a PIM member company in good standing
- Uses creative talent to enhance print communications materials
- Interprets customer instructions to effectively meet their needs
- Engages staff to ensure an efficient production process
- Reference from senior management
How Do You Nominate for This Award?
Submit to online form by the due date of January 29, 2025 at 12:00 PM (CST)
Nomination Process
- Complete the online form and answer the questions on the form.
- Next, collect testimonials or supporting documents that help demonstrate why your employee is award-winning.
- There is a “SAVE AND RESUME LATER” button at the bottom of the form. By clicking this, your form will be saved for 30 days and a unique link will be created for you to access and resume working your form.
- The form must be submitted by January 29, 2025 at 12:00 PM (CST). Late submissions might not be counted.
- All nominations will be reviewed by a committee in February. The results will be shared with the nominator around the end of February.
- The identity of the winner will remain secret until PIM’s Star Awards Banquet held on June 12, 2025 at the JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America, Bloomington, MN.
- All nominations will be recognized and the winners will be announced at the banquet. Winners will receive a framed certificate and everyone else will receive a certificate in a folder. We encourage everyone to attend the banquet to celebrate. It is an honor to be nominated!
